Safety Matters

We understand that once a gate is automated, it becomes a machine and there are risks involved. Although incidents involving injury are rare, it is important that measures are put in place to reduce hazards and that the users of the gate are aware of its safe operation. We have the following measures in place to ensure gate safety:

Risk Assessment

Every gate we install has it's own unique environment and risks. The starting point for us is to assess the risks present, reduce or eliminate them where possible and put mitigations in place where these risks can't be removed.

Quality Equipment

We only use quality equipment that is CE marked and from approved and established suppliers. We will ensure the gate automation equipment installed is suitable for your gate specification and the environment it is in. For example, we will make sure the automation equipment can safely operate the weight and length of your gates and we will ensure stops for the gates to open and close against are installed where necessary.

Customer handover pack

Upon completion of a gate installation, every customer will receive a handover of their gate. This will include a demonstration and written instructions on how to use the gate safely, how to operate the gates manually in the event of power failure and how to isolate the power to the gate if required. The handover pack will also include a servicing and maintenance log.

Gate Safe Member

We are a member of GateSafe - We have completed their training package and will attend annual refreshers to keep up to date with the relevant industry safety practices.
